World Arts Outreach officially starts its photography program “Lens Of Culture”. This program is aimed towards fostering cultural diversity and preservation through photography. Ten kids chose to participate in our camera program. Participants were hand-selected based on location and personal interview. Among those choosing were: Elvis Avila Cayo District, Juan Saqui of Maya Center, Latisha Mena of Seine Bight Village., Fernando Cal of Silk Grass Village, Yadira Argueta of Pomona Village, Karen Lopez of St. Margretes Village, Maulette Robateau of Belize City, Samuel Tush and Martha Cal of Corazon Creek Technical High School.
We give a big thank you to PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION for their generous donation of ten cameras.
